• I genuinely think Hayley Williams is one of the greatest live performers of our generation, and I’m not interested in debating that. Also, she was only 15 when Paramore signed their first record deal… mic drop. Catch her at North Island on 10/3.

• BUNT. started as a duo inspired by Swedish folk music and somehow turned that into festival-ready electronic tracks that make strangers hug each other. Sooooo…Go hug your friends to his music at The Sound on 9/12. Duh!

• I firmly believe every city needs at least one venue where you can watch a band absolutely melt the walls for 90 minutes straight, and Casbah (8/17) was built for artists like Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears.

• El Tri has been around for over FIVE decades, which means they were making rebellious rock music before a lot of your favorite bands’ parents even met each other. Absolute legends. House of Blues on 8/14 is gonna be historic.
