Happy almost Fourth of July, friends! 🇺🇸

However you're feeling heading into this holiday weekend, I hope you find a little time to be with people you love, eat something off a paper plate, and remember that community is worth celebrating every single day.

I'm grateful for the people who've sacrificed to protect the freedoms we enjoy, and I also believe one of the best ways to honor that is by continuing to build communities where we look out for one another. One of my favorite things about San Diego is that people from all walks of life call this place home, and I hope we never stop celebrating that.

As for me... I'll be attempting the brave (or questionable) decision to go to the beach this weekend, so please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. 😂
