FRIDAY!!!! We made it to my favorite day of the week. 🥹

There is SO much happening in San Diego this weekend, and I personally plan to participate in almost none of it lmao. Today and tomorrow are reserved for doing absolutely nothing, maybe going to the beach, and conserving every ounce of energy I have because starting Sunday, I am entering a four-concerts-in-four-days situation.

Then…I get Thursday off before going to two MORE shows Friday and Saturday. So basically, check on me next Thursday. If I’m alive, hydrated, and still have a voice, we’ll call it a success.

But that is future me’s problem! For now, we chill, figure out what future plans we’re adding to the calendar, and most importantly, GET YOURSELF A LITTLE FRIDAY TREAT. You made it through the week. I don’t make the rules.

• Petco is going VERY country next summer. Luke Combs is taking over the ballpark on 6/26 with Treaty Oak Revival, Avery Anna, Shenandoah, and Wyatt McCubbin. That lineup is basically its own festival.  

• Petco Park has no signs of slowing down the fire concert drops. From making beats on an iPhone to playing stadium shows is a pretty insane trajectory. Steve Lacy keeps leveling up, and his next San Diego stop is the ballpark on 11/19.

• More than 50 years of banda history is rolling into Blue Agave. La Original Banda El Limón brings the brass, heartbreak, and decades of hits to the club on 10/9.

• Oh, you thought the Whethan party ended after the show tomorrow? Cute. A last-minute after-party just dropped at EQ, so save a little something in the tank for round two.
