FRIDAY!!! Everybody exhale. We freaking made it. 😮‍💨

It’s been a BUSY week over here, but those are the weeks that make Friday feel approximately 400x sweeter.

I tried to start mine peacefully with a cute little early morning at Kate Sessions Park. Grass! Fresh air! Serenity! And then the sprinklers turned on while I was sitting there. 😭

Because apparently, Friday wasn’t going to let me have her without one final fight.

So I walked home slightly damp and laughing because… what else are you supposed to do at that point? Sometimes you try to touch grass and the grass touches back.

Anyway, consider this your Friday reminder to get yourself a little treat, go outside this weekend, PICK UP YOUR TRASH, and laugh when shit gets a little stupid.

JUST ANNOUNCED

• Some big-band drama never hurt anybody. Lizzy & The Triggermen bring the swing and swagger to Belly Up on 10/29. Go be fancy for an evening!

• A little Naples techno is headed our way. Anfisa Letyago is taking over NOVA on 10/9, and I suspect the bass will be doing most of the talking.

• This lineup feels like three tabs I’d already have open. Oso Oso, Liquid Mike, and bugsy are all headed to Soda Bar on 11/16. Convenient!

• San Diego really said good luck choosing Halloween plans this year. INZO is the latest addition, taking over FIT Social on 10/31.
