Happy Monday, family!!! Or, if you’re lucky enough to have today off, happy Sunday: The Sequel. And if you’re working... well. Sometimes the calendar chooses favorites. 😭

I hope everybody had a cozy little weekend because I absolutely DID. Before the rain rolled in, I finally saw Mr. Jack Johnson on Friday and, not to be white person hears Jack Johnson live for the first time, but wow??? He was SO GOOD. It was the perfect little nostalgia bomb.

Then the rain showed up, and I spent the rest of the weekend romanticizing the weather we desperately needed like I personally booked it. Candles on. Windows cracked. Suddenly every mundane task had cinematography.

Since today is technically a holiday, I’ll keep this one short and let everybody enjoy whatever version of Monday they’ve been handed.

But first, a little treat for opening your email anyway: TEN brings his US Showcase Tour to Humphreys Concerts By The Bay on 10/23, and I’ve got a pair of tickets to give away!!! Enter to win!!*

JUST ANNOUNCED

• Slash + Myles Kennedy have been doing this together for 15 years and five albums, which is a longer relationship than most of us can manage. Their Flying Blind era hits 4/29 at The Sound.

• There are people who know Lavell Crawford from stand-up and people who immediately yell “HUELL!” Both groups are invited to Mic Drop Comedy on 12/10.

• They grew up around Southern California beach towns where throwing garage shows was basically a teenage rite of passage. Sun Room turned that upbringing into a whole sound. See them live on 11/10 at Casbah

• Part massive concert, part worship night: Elevation Worship leads the music, Steven Furtick brings the message + ELEVATION RHYTHM joins the lineup at Viejas Arena on 3/5. I’ve got a pair of tickets to give away.*

Losing Weight Is Easier When Someone’s Watching

Have you ever noticed that the microsecond you start attempting to parallel park, a person materializes out of thin air and begins watching you? It makes it a lot harder. Losing weight is kinda the exact opposite of this, and there’s a study that backs it up: Weight Watchers members who attend 3 workshops per month lose more than twice as much weight as those who attend only 1 workshop per month*. The Core+ plan opens the door to 3,000+ Workshops, virtual and in person, and a community that genuinely cheers you on. Their Points®️ system also guides you toward nutrient-dense choices while leaving total flexibility for the foods you love. Right now, new and rejoining members get 50% off their first month with code WWSAVE50 on a Core or Core+ plan^, on top of current sign-up promotions.*
