King Tides are back! San Diego, it’s time to explore the ocean’s hidden treasures! With king tides rolling in, low tide means tide pools galore. Grab your buddies, head to the coast, and get up close with the sea life waiting to say hello. Think of it as a beachside safari—no tickets needed!

  • Sunny Jim Cave - La Jolla. Descend a staircase from inside the Cave Store–one of the few sea caves in California accessible by land.

  • Sunset Cliffs Sea Cave. Accessible only during low tide, making it the perfect from row sea to San Diego’s smallest sea creatures.

  • Point Loma Tide Pools. Cabrillo National Monument to New Point Loma Lighthouse, Point Loma’s coast, is a playground.
