Okay, so today felt like someone accidentally turned the San Diego weather dial straight to summer. Not complaining though — almost Friday, sunshine everywhere, and patios starting to look real tempting.
To celebrate, we’re giving away tickets to Gary Owen when his No Hard Feelings Tour hits San Diego Civic Theatre on 4/25. If you’ve ever watched his specials or seen his clips online, you already know the guy is chaos in the funniest possible way. Enter to win and spend a night laughing instead of doomscrolling.
JUST ANNOUNCED
Regional Mexican’s hottest crossover act is coming through. Grupo Frontera hits Viejas Arena on 8/6, and tickets go on sale tomorrow.
Petco Park is stacking the calendar: Ms. Lauryn Hill (4/30), Nas with The Roots and De La Soul (8/27), and neon electro weirdos Empire of the Sun (10/7). Three totally different vibes, all massive.
Leather jackets, upright bass, and one of the cleanest guitar tones in rock. The Stray Cats bring Rumble in Del Mar to The Sound 7/26, with tickets going on sale tomorrow.
You know Rostam even if you don’t realize it. He helped shape Vampire Weekend’s early albums and produced a bunch of modern indie favorites. Now he’s bringing his American Stories Tour to Music Box on 5/27.
Plus other just announced shows from The Beach Boys, Mike Love, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Judy Collins, and more!
