I swear March lasted like… four days? February felt longer, and it’s literally missing days. But I’m not mad about this timeline because tomorrow is Friday, and Padres’ home opener is today. The city’s about to feel alive again.

• “Lingering Love” was fully my summer 2025 soundtrack, so seeing Fruit Bats pop up for this June feels a little full circle. Eric D. Johnson’s been doing this project for years – mellow, melodic, easy to keep coming back to.

• If you want polite stand-up, this is not that. Kathy Griffin’s whole thing is saying what she probably shouldn’t and committing to the bit anyway. New Face, New Tour lands at The Magnolia on 9/13.

• That unmistakable Barrington Levy voice is pulling up to Music Box on 5/21. “Here I Come” alone is enough to lock people in, but the catalog goes way deeper than that. Start digging.

• From “WHATS POPPIN” to full stadium moment – Jack Harlow is leveling up at Petco Park. Tickets drop tomorrow for his September show.
