Selfishly, watching Knicks fans celebrate in New York has been some of the most hopecore, jealousy-inducing content I've seen in a minute. The city is buzzing. Everyone's outside. Everyone's united. It makes me think about what San Diego would look like if the Padres could just bring home one World Series. Just one. That's all I'm asking.

The closest I've ever felt to that was SDSU's 2023 Final Four run. I was working at a sports bar when they hit the buzzer-beater against Florida Atlantic, and the energy was unmatched. Of course, they lost the championship game (because San Diego sports), but still.

Since I can't personally fix the Padres, the next best thing I've got is giving away tickets. We may not have a championship parade, but we can at least spend a night laughing about our collective shortcomings. Enter to win tickets to see Dave Chappelle at Viejas Arena on 6/21.*
