HOWDY friends!!! Can someone explain why October is already almost halfway over??? I feel like we JUST got here and somehow the month is already speed-running itself. Very spooky, actually.

Maybe time is moving this fast because I apparently decided to book myself a small personal tour schedule this week… Tonight I’m seeing sombr with my sister, Thursday is Love Spells at House of Blues, and Saturday… Daniella + I are in desperate need of a girls’ night, so naturally we made an appointment with the Sammy Virji dance floor.

I’m already tired just typing that, but spiritually? Locked in.

And since my calendar clearly has no interest in calming down, let’s add something to yours: Michael Carbonaro, aka the guy from The Carbonaro Effect who casually did impossible shit to unsuspecting strangers on TV, is bringing his Wonderboy magic + comedy show to Sycuan Casino Resort on 11/21.

And I’ve got a pair of tickets + an overnight stay for one winner. Enter, then go get magical or whatever.

• Mersiv makes bass music that somehow feels emotional AND like it could scramble your brain. Add Seth David’s R&B-meets-dubstep thing, and you’ve got a dance party on 11/28 at Fit Social.

• Turns out San Diego is still not done hearing Jo Koy roast family, parenthood + the deeply specific chaos of being Filipino American. Another Koy Meets World show lands on 12/10 at Civic Theatre.

• Romance as rebellion is a MUCH better album thesis than “I texted him again.” Girl Ultra’s brand-new RRRomeo era comes to Quartyard on 2/23. 

• Tonight’s emotional support activity is apparently screaming sombr songs with several thousand strangers. He’s at Pechanga with Tom Odell + The Hellp, and SOMBADDIES gets you $40 tickets.*
