Happy Tuesday, San Diego. Mercury is doing whatever it does, and apparently, we’re under some “lunar eclipse energy” that’s either here to level you up or expose your bad decisions. Choose wisely.

If leveling up looks like jazz, pastries, vinyl, and a slow Sunday that doesn’t involve doomscrolling, we’ve got you. On 3/15, GATHER is hosting its first Jazz Brunch at Cellar Hand – intimate, soulful, and designed to feel like you stumbled into the coolest living room in the city. Pocket Change ft. Xavy is playing live, Encuentro is crafting custom coffee drinks to order, and there’s a build-your-own Bouquet Bar. Enter to win a pair of tickets.

JUST ANNOUNCED

  • Some bands tour. Low Cut Connie invades. 7/18 and 7/19 at Casbah, expect pounding piano, Springsteen-level conviction, and the kind of crowd participation that erases personal space laws.

  • Petco Park goes full country on 8/20 with Tucker Wetmore leading the charge. His polished hooks and radio-ready rise pair with William Beckmann’s Texas-rooted soul and Stella Lefty’s fresh edge.

  • Nate Bargatze hits Pechanga Arena on 7/16 with his Big Dumb Eyes World Tour, and here’s the twist: he doesn’t yell, rant, or pace like he’s late for something. He just stands there, calmly dismantling everyday life with surgical timing.

  • The Beach Boys with a full orchestra at The Shell on 6/27 feels almost unfair to other summer plans. Their catalog practically defines West Coast sound, and pairing it with the San Diego Symphony Orchestra elevates the whole night.

  • Plus other just-announced shows from ST. VINCENT, Mike Love, Dub Fx, Capyac, The Effigies, The Plagues, Spider, and more!
