• Casbah’s about to get deliciously moody. David J (yes, that Bauhaus / Love and Rockets David J) rolls through 6/9 with John Courage, bringing the kind of bass-heavy set that feels right at home in a dark, packed bar.

• Theresa Caputo, the Long Island Medium herself, is bringing her live reading show to the Civic Theatre on 8/27. It’s part stand-up, part emotional group reading, with audience members getting pulled into the experience. I’m sat!

• I’ve always liked Deer Tick more in a live setting than on record, tbh, so them doing Tour-O-Matic at Belly Up on 10/13 makes sense. It’s a little messy, a little heartfelt. A good night to post up and stay awhile.

• Known from RuPaul’s Drag Race, Bosco brings The Marvelous Miss Gender Tour to The Observatory on 8/1…. yeah, this is for the dolls. Grab your tickets, you will be gagged.
