LAST DAY OF SEPTEMBER! ARE WE UP YET? I know the Padres are.

I’m not even a Sports Person™. Ask me about basically any other baseball team, and you will receive a beautiful blank stare. But the Padres? Oh, I know what’s going on. Those men have personally entered my emotional ecosystem.

But I was thinking about what would happen if the Padres finally won the World Series and… San Diego might become unbearable. Complimentary. We already think we live in the greatest city on earth. Give us a championship? It’s over for everybody.

I KNOW we’re gonna see the day. Please do not ask me for evidence. This is faith. Until then, good luck to our favorite group of men who make us earn every ounce of joy. ❤️ LFGSD.
